Pro-Inflammatory cytokines were elicited by immunization with RHΔku80ΔompdcΔuprt. Splenocytes collected from the immunized and non-immunized (6 weeks after immunization) mice were co-incubated with STAg (10 µg/ml). The levels of Th1 [IFN-γ (a), IL-2 (b), and IL-12 (c)] and Th2 [IL-4 (d) and IL-10 (e)] in the culture supernatants were measured by flow cytometry. (f) The proliferative responses of splenocytes were measured by a CCK8 kit. The results are presented as the means ± SD. (n = 5, ***P < 0.001 by Student’s t test).
