  4. Type 3: no local cases reported in the past years but still with risk of transmission

  6. bAn indigenous case is defined as a case contracted indigenously (i.e. within national boundaries)
  7. cThe origin can be traced to a known malaria endemic area outside the national borders to where the case has travelled within one month
