The linear discriminant analysis (LDA) was translated into a cladogram that is presented. The red and green nodes represent specific microorganisms relevant to healthy controls and cirrhosis patients, respectively. Each node represents a biomarker; the biomarker names are included in the upper right corner. The yellow nodes represent the microorganisms that did not play an important role in the different groups. The diameter of each node is proportional to the taxon’s abundance. The circles that radiate from the inside to the outside represent the classification level from phylum to species (phylum–class–order–family–genus–species)
